Gay so Not Guilty
Some of you might be familiar with the Michal Sandy case in New York City. For those of us who have little knowledge, here is a quick lesson in what happened. Michael Sandy meets some dude online who invite him to meet somewhere to hook-up. He gets to the place and is encountered by 3 white individuals who begin to taunt, harass, and threaten him physically. Michael realizes that this was all a set-up, that these men were out to get him not in the way it was mentioned online, as a result he ran for his life. The three others chases him right into a moving car that kills Michael.
The perpetrators where caught and are now on trial charged with a hate crime in New York State. But, guess what? The perpetrators are saying that they are not guilty of a hate crime because all of a sudden, they are gay! Yes that's, right their attorney is pleading with the court saying that the defendants are actually gay, but have not come out to their families or friends yet. And since they are gay, they can not be charge with a hate crime against other gays.
